RIDE FOR THE ROSES 2011

WE ARE COMMITTED.....

Everywhere in the world there is a daily battle against the world’s # 1 killer, cancer. Lance Armstrong, the best cyclist the world has known, started his LIVESTRONG message, a strong awareness campaign that has given thousands of people in the world inspiration and strength not to  give in, but to go for the battle. Curacao has an estimated 5000 patients with cancer. They fight the daily struggle and are supported by the Princess Wilhelmina Fund. The  Ride for the Roses  Foundation is committed to contribute .  Firstly to collect money, with  which the Princess Wilhelmina Fund can continue her work  and possibly expand their efforts. But also to mobilize the people of Curacao  to show the patients that they are not alone in battle. We are committed and that is why LANDMARK REAL ESTATE is one of the proud sponsors of this great event.

In 2010 approx. 3.500 persons participated in the Ride, Walk and Swim for the Roses. The Ride, Walk and Swim For the Roses of 2011 was an even greater success compared to 2010. Over 4.500 (!!!) persons participated on Sunday Januari 30th 2011 and more than Naf. 400.000,= (approx. US$. 225.000,=) was collected for the Fight against Cancer.
2012 hopefully will break all records!
